IT Coordinator | Permanent | Full-time
Join Central Kids, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting tamariki, whānau, and communities through high-quality early learning.
We’re looking for an IT Coordinator to provide hands-on support across our organisation—helping our people stay connected, productive, and focused on what matters most.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
You’ll be the go-to for day-to-day IT support, including:
- First-line support across a multi-site environment
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Devices, access, and user support
- Asset tracking and onboarding/offboarding
- Coordinating external IT providers
- Supporting improvements and smarter ways of working
Ko wai koe | About you
We’re seeking someone who is:
Technically capable
- Experienced in IT or systems support (ideally 3–5 years)
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365, including administration of core applications (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Proven ability to set up, configure, and maintain digital devices (e.g. laptops, tablets, mobile devices) in line with organisational standards.
- Ensures devices and systems are configured securely and consistently, supporting organisational policies and compliance requirements
Organised and solutions-focused
- Able to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Practical in approach, with a strong troubleshooting mindset
People-focused
- Friendly and approachable when supporting non-technical staff
- A collaborative team player who can build strong working relationships
Forward-thinking
- Committed to continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for better ways of working
- Comfortable supporting organisational change and digital improvement initiatives
Experience in multi-site environments, vendor coordination, or the education/not-for-profit sector will be advantageous.
