IT Logistics and Warehouse Specialist

<h3>About the Position</h3> <p>We’re looking for an experienced logistics and supply chain professional to help manage equipment inventory, delivery, installation and deployment for our offices, data centres and co-locations, and to track assets throughout their lifecycle.&nbsp;</p> <p>This role is based in London but covers a range of sites across the European market, and will help align global processes with our Hong Kong office.&nbsp;</p> <p>Additional responsibilities of this role will include:</p> <ul> <li>Developing, implementing and coordinating comprehensive logistics plans for equipment movement from warehouses to data centres</li> <li>Managing the call-off process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of equipment</li> <li>Coordinating, with the support of the business stakeholders, the planning of installations and deployments of equipment across multiple sites</li> <li>Working alongside the Procurement team to support the management of inventory levels and identify any stock challenges</li> <li>Helping with asset transfers and driving process improvements across logistics and supply chain operations where possible</li> <li>Troubleshooting and resolving any logistics-related issues</li> <li>Managing customs broking and paperwork arrangements for both the importing and exporting of goods across global markets</li> </ul> <h3>About You</h3> <ul> <li>Have 5+ years of experience in logistics and project management, preferably in IT or data centre environments</li> <li>Have demonstrable experience improving, streamlining and documenting processes</li> <li>Have a proven track record of managing vendors and coordinating third-party services</li> <li>Understand warehouse operations and inventory management</li> <li>An experienced project manager and resource planner</li> <li>A strong communicator with great people and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets</li> <li>Operate with a high sense of urgency</li> <li>Have experience in asset transfers management, process improvement and process management (a plus but not required)&nbsp;</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> </ul> <p><em>If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to agency-partnerships@janestreet.com.</em></p>
