IT Support Lead

<p>At Jonsson Workwear, technology is a critical enabler of our manufacturing capability. The systems and infrastructure that support our operations must be reliable, secure and aligned to the demands of a high-performing production environment.</p> <p>To support the continued growth of our eSwatini facility, we’re looking for an experienced <strong>IT Support Lead</strong> to join our Technology Team. This role will take ownership of the on-site IT environment, ensuring that infrastructure, systems and support processes enable efficient, uninterrupted operations. If you have strong technical depth and the ability to lead within a complex environment, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.</p> <p>As the on-site IT lead, your expertise will be central to maintaining stable, secure and high-performing systems while guiding a team of technicians. Your work will directly support production efficiency and ensure that technology continues to enable seamless operations across the facility.</p> <p>This role goes beyond day-to-day support. Your ability to lead a team, manage vendors, and implement effective IT solutions within a manufacturing environment will be key. By bridging technical capability with operational needs, you’ll ensure that systems and infrastructure continue to support performance, scalability and long-term growth.</p> <p>The IT Support Lead that supports our business will be required to:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor a team of IT support technicians, ensuring consistent delivery and ongoing development.</li> <li>Allocate work, monitor performance and maintain alignment to IT standards, procedures and service expectations.</li> <li>Oversee the installation, configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure, servers, end-user devices, and access and surveillance systems.</li> <li>Ensure system uptime, performance and security across all supported environments.</li> <li>Work closely with manufacturing and operational teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that support production workflows.</li> <li>Support the integration of manufacturing and operational systems, including MES, WMS and connected technologies.</li> <li>Maintain accurate system documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection requirements and audit standards.</li> <li>Coordinate with IT and systems vendors, managing support activities, tracking issues and ensuring adherence to standards and site requirements.</li> <li>Support the introduction of new or enhanced systems into production environments.</li> <li>Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>In line with Jonsson Workwear’s commitment to employment equity, applications from candidates from designated groups, as well as candidates with disabilities, are encouraged.</p></div>
