About the role
Position Overview
Silverspin is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to oversee, configure and optimize our core corporate application and network ecosystem. In this role, you will manage the administration of M365, MS Azure, Atlassian (Jira & Confluence), office networks and other SaaS platforms supporting 400 global users.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence—driving system availability, security, and performance while enabling cross-functional teams to collaborate, deliver, and innovate in a fast-paced iGaming environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive, technically strong administrator who thrives in scaling systems, improving processes, and owning platforms end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Governance and Azure environment
Manage identity lifecycle and security controls
Automate routine administration using PowerShell and PowerAutomate.
Administer and integrate core SaaS applications across the business.
Lead escalated technical issues and drive root-cause resolution
Provide end-user support for office applications, hardware, and network-related issues.
Identify improvements in the support process to enhance automations and/or introduce AI when this creates business value
Manage backups, and disaster-recovery solutions
Maintain IP PBX, printers, office switches, firewalls and access points and troubleshoot cloud and network issues (VPNs, firewalls)
Manage Azure and on-prem virtualized servers
Administer Jira Software and Confluence
Build scalable workflows, automation, permission models, and integrations
Requirements
Experience in a Systems & Networks Administrator or Application Administrator role within a technology-driven, SaaS-heavy, or high-growth environment.
Proven, hands-on expertise administering and optimizing:
o Microsoft 365, Azure
o Ideally, Atlassian Jira & Confluence
o Networking
o On-prem InfrastructureDemonstrated problem-solving capabilities, with experience troubleshooting complex system, access, and integration issues.
Highly self-driven, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on scalability, process efficiency, and operational excellence.
