<h1><span style="text-decoration: underline;">IT Systems &amp; Business Automation Specialist ($80k + benefits package)</span></h1> <p>Talroo's IT team handles more than traditional IT. Alongside support and security work, we've used AI coding tools and workflow automation platforms to build custom business automations in-house, including automated reporting systems, AI-driven research pipelines, and personalized partner communications. Most of your time — around 70-80% — will be on the automation side. The rest is traditional IT support and security.</p> <p>You'll work alongside the person who built our current automation suite, learning through hands-on pairing and eventually owning your own projects.</p> <p>This position is fully in-office Monday through Friday at our Austin, TX headquarters. Our recruiting platform uses AI-powered search-and-match to put job listings in front of candidates where they're already spending time online, similar to how ad networks work for advertisers.</p> <p>We've been recognized as a Top Workplace and Best Place to Work in Austin multiple years running, appeared on the Inc. 5000 list five years in a row, and made the Austin Business Journal's Fast 50 growth list multiple times.</p> <hr> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <h3>Automation &amp; Integration</h3> <ul> <li>Build and maintain business workflow automations using n8n, AI coding tools, and custom integrations</li> <li>Collaborate with teams across the company to identify processes that can be automated and implement solutions</li> <li>Maintain and improve existing automations including internal reporting digests, client call summarization, partner outreach campaigns, and AI-powered research workflows</li> <li>Develop custom connectors and integrations between internal systems</li> </ul> <h3>IT Support &amp; Security</h3> <ul> <li>Manage and resolve IT support tickets including access issues, software and hardware troubleshooting, and general user support</li> <li>Handle employee onboarding and offboarding including workstation setup, account provisioning, access controls, and device decommissioning</li> <li>Administer the M365 environment including user and group management, access controls, and security configurations</li> <li>Monitor and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki</li> <li>Maintain security policies, support progress toward SOC and ISO 27001 certifications, and respond to security questionnaires from clients and partners</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Experience troubleshooting technical issues across hardware, software, and access management</li> <li>Basic knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and privacy regulations</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you'll work with people across every department</li> <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship</li> <li>Able to work on-site Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM CT</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n</li> <li>Familiarity with AI coding assistants</li> <li>Knowledge of M365 administration</li> <li>Industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+ or similar)</li> <li>Scripting experience in Python or JavaScript</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Compensation &amp; Growth</h2> <p>Starting salary is $80,000, with a clear growth path to $95,000 and then $110,000 over your first two years as you take on more ownership of automation projects and security initiatives.</p> <hr> <h2>Benefits</h2> <ul> <li>Company-paid gym membership or ClassPass</li> <li>Health, vision, and dental insurance, with company-paid premiums for you and dependents</li> <li>401(k) with 3% employer contribution</li> <li>Paid holidays, unlimited PTO, and paid parental leave</li> <li>Team events and a workplace where people actually like coming in</li> </ul> <hr> <p><em>Talroo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
