<h1><strong>IVF Facility Design Consultant</strong></h1> <p><em>DiRezze Family Office — South Florida (premium IVF network)</em></p> <h2><strong>Engagement summary</strong></h2> <p>DiRezze Family Office is seeking an IVF facility design consultant to translate the Laboratory Director’s clinical and operational spec into architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings for a new flagship hub clinic in South Florida. This is a project-based engagement, fixed-fee per phase, running in parallel with and reporting through the Laboratory Director.</p> <p>We are explicitly not looking for a general healthcare architect or general cleanroom consultant. We are looking for a specialist who has designed IVF and ART facilities before, knows the small group of firms and individuals who do this well, and has informed views on the current state of the field.</p> <h2><strong>Scope of work</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Phase 1 — Site feasibility</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Walk the candidate site(s) with the Laboratory Director.</li> <li>Produce a technical feasibility memo covering floor-to-floor height, structural load, HVAC capacity and modifiability, electrical service and upgrade pathway, LN2 placement and routing, medical gas infrastructure, vibration and adjacent-tenant risk.</li> <li>Identify hard nos and conditional fits; estimate TI cost deltas.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Phase 2 — Programming and schematic design</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Define room program, adjacencies, and circulation.</li> <li>Specify ISO classification targets for the main lab and workstation zones.</li> <li>Design HVAC system: dedicated AHUs, VOC scrubbing, makeup air, positive-pressure cascade, HEPA and carbon filtration sizing.</li> <li>Lay out cryostorage: dewar capacity, LN2 supply, oxygen monitoring, alarm and emergency power, physical security.</li> <li>Specify automation-ready infrastructure: oversized electrical service, reinforced floor loading, conduit pathways, network infrastructure.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Phase 3 — Construction documents</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Coordinate with the architect of record and MEP engineers to produce permit-ready drawings.</li> <li>Specify equipment locations, utility connections, and validation criteria.</li> <li>Produce commissioning and validation protocols.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Phase 4 — Construction administration (duration of build)</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Review submittals; conduct site visits at key milestones.</li> <li>Coordinate commissioning, environmental qualification, and turnover.</li> <li>Support CLIA and CAP inspection readiness from a facility standpoint.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Required qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>IVF/ART facility specialization:</strong> Has led design on at least three IVF or ART lab projects in the past five years. We will request a project list with square footage, scope, and references.</li> <li><strong>HVAC and air quality depth:</strong> Documented expertise in VOC mitigation, positive-pressure cascade design, HEPA and carbon filtration sizing, and makeup air handling for IVF labs specifically.</li> <li><strong>ISO classification experience:</strong> Has designed labs to ISO 7 or better in the main lab with ISO 5 at workstations, and can articulate where on that spectrum to land for a premium hub.</li> <li><strong>Cryostorage planning:</strong> Post-Pacific Fertility tank failure-era expertise in dewar layout, LN2 supply infrastructure, monitoring, alarming, and physical security.</li> <li><strong>Automation-ready design:</strong> Has built infrastructure that anticipates future robotic IVF deployment (e.g., Conceivable/AURA, CHLOE) without committing capital prematurely.</li> <li><strong>Florida code fluency (preferred):</strong> Familiar with Florida Office Surgery Registration requirements and South Florida permitting environment.</li> </ul> <p></p>
