IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "PAISACTIVO"

Fundación Juana de Vega is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “PAISACTIVO - Paisajes cortafuegos: Activación del espacio rural para un territorio resiliente", under the Programme "Interreg POCTEP".

The objective of the Interreg project "PAISACTIVO" is to reduce the vulnerability of rural areas to Large Wildfires (LWF) by promoting sustainable land management and revitalizing rural settlements.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and  activities:

• support for stakeholder mapping, preparation and follow-up of local meetings, participatory workshops , systematisation of social needs and local perceptions, and contribution to community engagement processes in rural areas;

• help prepare pedagogical and awareness-raising materials adapted to different target groups, including rural communities, young people, landowners, farmers, associations and local authorities;

• support activities linked to the RED RURACTIVA network and the “Academia en la aldea” programme, helping to transfer lessons learned and promote social involvement in resilient rural landscapes.

Other information:

Financial support of: 29 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).

Location: Oleiros, Spain.

Start and duration: July, for 6 month(s).

Languages*: Spanish (C2), Portuguese (B1).

*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.
