Job responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based backend applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve existing systems.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystems.
- Good to have React experience.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Development and delivery with Java, EJB, Spring Boot, MySQL, Oracle and IBM MQ, Kafka
- Understand business / system requirements and translate them into technical solutions that are scalable, stable and fit for purpose.
- Passionate about technologies and building robust and scalable Java Systems.
- Analysis, design coding, and implementation of complex and custom-built applications.
