About the project

Customer Data Management (CDM) harmonizes the heterogeneous application landscape for customer master data to enable fast and efficient access across the bank and to create the basis for a new standard of data quality. We create group-wide views of the personal and customer master data and link these to alliances for internal and regulatory processes.

Our mission is to turn Party Data into an Asset.

We are operating across Frankfurt, Lodz, and Düsseldorf, collaborating closely, using modern IT infrastructure and leveraging cloud solutions to develop APIs, database and frontend solutions, providing high quality customer master data to our consumers within bank.

What will you be doing? 👇

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating modern applications within our IT landscape.

You will work on complex systems and data flows, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs and architectural standards. You will also contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and support junior engineers in their development.

Your key tasks will include:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable and secure applications using Java (17+), Spring, and Spring Boot
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange
• Develop cloud-native solutions using technologies such as OpenShift, Docker, and Azure
• Ensure alignment with architecture principles (microservices, modular design, serverless)
• Support incident resolution and problem management
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
• Prepare and maintain build and release packages for deployment
• Leverage AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity and code quality
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement
• Help in building modern frontends using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React

• Explore and evaluate AI tools and technologies to optimize development processes
