About the role

Join our team as a Virtual Event Host Intern, where you will play an essential role in introducing speakers, engaging with audiences, coordinating event activities, and ensuring that each live session runs smoothly. This internship offers valuable experience in hosting, event planning, and digital communication.

Tasks

โ€ข Host live virtual sessions with confidence and professionalism.

โ€ข Introduce speakers, welcome attendees, and maintain smooth session flow.

โ€ข Coordinate speaker outreach: send invitations, collect bios/headshots, and confirm participation.

โ€ข Assist in creating the event agenda, including session titles and descriptions.

โ€ข Prepare short content such as captions, announcements, and updates.

โ€ข Manage live-session tasks including timing, transitions, and Q&A facilitation.

โ€ข Maintain trackers for communication, schedules, and content using Google Sheets/Docs or MS Office tools.

Requirements

โ€ข Enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s program.

โ€ข Strong communication skills, confidence in speaking, and effective follow-up ability.

โ€ข Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking.

โ€ข Familiar with Google Workspace; willing to learn Microsoft Teams or similar tools.
