The Job:

Successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Perform operational tasks such as implementing and configuring firewall, VPN, and proxy policies as part of Business As Usual (BAU) activities.
• Support network security components round-the-clock in areas such as firewall, VPN, proxy, and various security tools like NSPM, SASE and NDR.
• Lead network security projects from design to implementation, coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Possess familiarity with a range of Security technologies including Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks (PA), Sangfor, H3C, Hillstone, Huawei, as well as other security components such as Ivanti VPN, MobileIron, Darktrace, NAC, Proxy, among others.
• Deploy and manage network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Darktrace, CrowdStrike, SIEM to track network performance and security. 
• Promptly investigate and address security alerts, incidents, and breaches with efficiency.
• Handle security events and incidents in a 24/7 environment to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to troubleshooting, analyze security data and produce reports for management and stakeholders.
• Assist in the implementation and management of security controls, tools, and technologies.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to enforce security measures and address security challenges effectively.
  
  

The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network security operation role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with security tools such as Firewall, VPN, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Good analytical, communication skills & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Player, self-motivated and work independently.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Network Security Engineer.
