About the role
Join our dynamic History department at a prestigious secondary school in West London. We are seeking a passionate and experienced History teacher to inspire students and foster a love of history.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative History lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and historical analysis.
- Prepare students for success in GCSE and A-Level History examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and innovative learning environment.
- Contribute to the school's historical societies and events.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
