We are seeking a passionate Sports Coach to join our vibrant school community in London. The role involves working with students to promote physical activity, healthy living, and teamwork through a variety of sports and fitness activities. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a range of sports activities and lessons that engage students of all abilities.
- Promote the benefits of physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and teamwork.
- Lead group and individual sports sessions, ensuring all students are involved and supported.
- Work closely with teaching staff to integrate sports into the broader educational experience.
- Monitor student progress and adapt activities to meet the needs of different skill levels.
- Encourage students with special educational needs or disabilities to participate fully, ensuring all activities are inclusive.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment, adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience coaching or teaching sports, ideally in a school setting.
- Ability to engage and motivate students, encouraging participation and effort.
- Understanding of working with children with special educational needs or disabilities is an advantage.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A clear DBS check.
- Right to work in the UK.
