Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 students, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.
- Plan and implement a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all learners.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the educational experience of our students.
- Prepare students for their transition to secondary school, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience teaching Year 6.
- Proven track record of raising attainment and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
