We offer a wide range of services including health, disability support, mental health & addictions, primary care, justice, corrections, housing, education, and social services. Our mission is rooted in the values and tikanga of Ngati Hine, ensuring that our work uplifts the wellbeing of our whānau, hapū, and hāpori.
The Role: Rangitamiro Kaiwhiriwhiri- Navigator
As a Rangitamiro Kaiwhiriwhiri Navigator, you’ll be the first point of contact for whānau, guiding them through their wellbeing journey. You’ll play a vital role in embedding whānau ora practices and ensuring that each whānau experience reflects the principles of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and kotahitanga.
Your Mission
- Engage and Empower: Build meaningful relationships with whānau through excellent communication and cultural understanding.
- Facilitate and Support: Provide navigation and advocacy, connecting whānau to local and regional support networks.
- Champion Wellbeing: Apply your knowledge of Te Reo me ōna Tikanga to offer compassionate, non-judgemental support.
What You Bring
- Cultural Connection: Proficiency in or a strong desire to learn Te Reo Māori and tikanga.
- Empathy and Resilience: Ability to work effectively in dynamic, sometimes challenging environments.
- Professional Integrity: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to self-care.
- Communication Skills: Confident in verbal, written, and digital communication.
- Flexibility and Compassion: A positive, adaptable, and empathetic approach.
- Quick Thinking: Ability to respond swiftly and make sound decisions in real-time situations.
- Essential: A clean, full NZ driver’s licence is required for travel.
