About the role
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Provide daily care for hospitalized patients and boarding pets
- Feed, water, and monitor pets for comfort and well-being alk dogs and assist with exercise and enrichment activities
- Bathe pets and maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Clean kennels, treatment areas, laundry, and hospital spaces
- Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or health concerns
- Safely handle dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
- Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary hospital environment
What You'll Bring:
- Must have previous animal experience
- Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects
- A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply
- Dependable and able to work independently
- The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
- A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
- References, background checks, and drug testing are required
