Korea Trading Controls Specialist

<h3><strong>About the Position</strong></h3> <p>We are looking for a Korea-focused Trading Controls Specialist to join our Hong Kong team. This person will focus on interpretation, design, and implementation of pre- and post-trade controls, whilst working with various internal teams to advise on, analyze and support the continued development of our business in Asia.&nbsp;</p> <p>Additional responsibilities of this role will include:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Gathering continuous feedback from brokers and exchanges on Korea UTP and short sell rules and other trading sensitivities to help advise and guide the business to make informed decisions&nbsp;</li> <li>Building relationships with onshore counterparties to gather colour on regulatory and market sentiment about the feedback from counterparties&nbsp;</li> <li>Working closely with our Korea Business Development, Trading, Compliance and Technology teams to translate the rule interpretations into our controls framework</li> <li>Monitoring and evaluating new flows/increases in trading and their interaction with controls</li> </ul> <h3><strong>About You&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Have 8+ years of relevant experience in trading controls design and implementation&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledgeable and experienced with Korea exchange rules (any broader APAC experience would be a plus)&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiar with electronic trading regulations as well as system design</li> <li>Experience working with devs (some coding skills would be a plus, but not required)&nbsp;</li> <li>Fluent in English and Korean</li> </ul> <p><em>If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to agency-partnerships@janestreet.com</em></p>
