Compensation
$45-47/hr

Responsibilities
- Design and execute primary consumer research using qualitative and quantitative methods
- Own the analysis and reporting delivery of research findings and insights
- Support the product research team by leading in the collaboration of defining research objectives and research projects
- Synthesize primary, secondary and public research sources to deliver research findings
- Collaborate closely with partners (external vendors) and peers to generate effective research plans to ensure outputs and deliverables are internally actionable
- Compare related competitor applications and products for strengths, weaknesses, user perspective and actionable insights
- Evaluate new product concepts for usability issues while trying new features or assessing UX design documents
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience doing consumer research, with an emphasis on qualitative techniques including: research design, recruiting, interviewing, online platform usage, analysis, video usage, reporting
- Proficiency using online survey tools, examples are: dscout, Pollfish and Qualtrics
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, with demonstrated technical learning and work in consumer electronics preferred
- Excellent communicator in interviewing and soliciting verbal input. Experience writing documents for influence. Solid numerical and data analysis skills
- Bilingual in English/Korean is a plus
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in related field, with demonstrated technical aptitude. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry is preferred
- 5+ years of experience is required
