About the role
- Design and develop firmware for embedded systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define and implement firmware requirements
- Perform system integration tests to ensure firmware functionality
- Debug and troubleshoot firmware and hardware issues
- Document firmware design and development processes
- Collaborate with manufacturing partner
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in firmware development
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with hardware design and documentation.
- Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems.
- C/C+, Python (debug tools)
- RTOS
- Embedded Systems, Hardware Interfacing, Debugging Tools
- Version Control Systems (e.g., Git)
- Microcontrollers
- Communication Protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C)
- BLE protocol
- Experience with capacitive sensors and/or sensor fusion is a plus
