Lake City Toyota - Express Service Technician

Job Description:  

Maintains vehicle functional condition by reading documented concern, conducting inspections, and performing routine maintenance. Provides service consultant with visual based maintenance needs and documentation to support recommendations. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

• Perform maintenance and repairs on automobiles. 
• Repair or replace vehicle parts. 
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment. 
• Perform thorough multi point inspection and record results. 
• Perform video inspection for customer viewing. 
• Produce accurate paperwork and documentation to reflect work performed. 
• Ensure vehicles are safely transported and positioned on all lift equipment. 
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. 
• Maintains and keeps current on all manufacturer certifications. 
• Maintains and keeps current on all compliance certifications. 
• Works with the parts and service department to obtain proper estimate. 
• Performs quality control of all repairs performed. 
• Test drive vehicles to verify concerns.  
• Keeps Express shop and Main shop in clean orderly condition which includes trash removal and cleaning. 
• Travel required on occasion for training
