About the role
Job Description:
Maintains vehicle functional condition by reading documented concern, conducting inspections, and performing routine maintenance. Provides service consultant with visual based maintenance needs and documentation to support recommendations.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on automobiles.
- Repair or replace vehicle parts.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Perform thorough multi point inspection and record results.
- Perform video inspection for customer viewing.
- Produce accurate paperwork and documentation to reflect work performed.
- Ensure vehicles are safely transported and positioned on all lift equipment.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Maintains and keeps current on all manufacturer certifications.
- Maintains and keeps current on all compliance certifications.
- Works with the parts and service department to obtain proper estimate.
- Performs quality control of all repairs performed.
- Test drive vehicles to verify concerns.
- Keeps Express shop and Main shop in clean orderly condition which includes trash removal and cleaning.
- Travel required on occasion for training
