In this position, you will perform field data collection, property location surveys, prepare survey drawings, and collaborate directly with internal/external clients.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and procedures, with a minimum of six (6) years of progressive professional surveying experience. This position requires the ability to perform a broad range of engineering and surveying functions in both field and office settings.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in PennDOT topographic and location surveys, drone-based aerial data collection, boundary monument recovery, field-to-finish data processing, Recorder’s Office research, boundary analysis and computations, property plat preparation, and legal description drafting.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A strong background in boundary surveying is essential, including experience with PennDOT right-of-way surveys and plat preparation. Preferred qualifications include experience preparing and reviewing ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary Plats, Easement Plats, and other survey deliverables supporting transportation, land development, and infrastructure projects.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Location</strong></p> <p>This position will have an in-person work schedule and will work from our Pottsville, PA Office.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>The Impact You Will Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Survey Team to establish survey requirements and conduct surveys in line with standards and contract specifications.</li> <li>Research necessary records, perform calculations, and analyze measurements for property locations and legal descriptions.</li> <li>Oversee final plat preparation and provide updates on progress, budget, and technical issues. Generate and review survey-related project correspondence, assist in data compilation, and ensure quality control.</li> <li>Communicate field issues to the Survey Team Leader /Project Manager.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>PLS certification in the State of Pennsylvania</li> <li>Associate degree or higher in Survey &amp; Geomatics, Survey Technology, or other related surveying program preferred, HS diploma or GED required.</li> <li>6+ years of experience in drafting plats and boundary calculations.</li> <li>Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license held for a minimum of one year and a safe motor vehicle record meeting company standards.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of surveying fundamentals, appropriate software, hardware, and technologies.</li> <li>Experience processing survey and completing plats in PennDOT environment</li> <li>Ability to work independently while seamlessly collaborating within a project team.</li> <li>Effective communication with project leaders and clients is one of your strengths.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail, demonstrated through accurate, clear, and concise project records and files.</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">#LI-LM1</span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><hr> <h3 data-start="140" data-end="159">Why Benesch</h3> <p data-start="161" data-end="221">It’s simple.
