This helps us ensure an efficient, fair, and consistent experience for all candidates before moving forward to human-led interviews.</em></p> <p><strong>Your Mission</strong>: <em>Deliver</em> complex stories by end of sprint</p> <ul> <li><strong>Develop Collaboratively:</strong> Participate in successful Agile delivery by seeking guidance, raising concerns, advancing best practices, identifying blockers, and mentoring peers and more junior team members.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Deliver Value:</strong> Perform thorough functional testing, regression testing, edge case testing and (where possible) basic api or automation testing.</li> <li><strong>Work Autonomously:</strong> Write detailed test cases, develop testing reports and develop robust testing plans.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Provide Guidance:</strong> Support more junior team members in performing documentation and testing techniques.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Client Interactions:</strong> Confidently present full test plans and sprint reports, documenting overall product status.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your Day-to-Day:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Key Activities: </strong>Demonstrate acceptance criteria understanding, share daily progress, limit QA kickback, deliver stories as assigned</li> <li><strong>How a Current Praxenter Describes The Role: “</strong>My normal day involves developing new features, fixing bugs, and attending a few meetings. When there are high priority items or major releases, we’ll spend extra time coordinating with the team, raising blockers, and assisting QA. Some days will have time allocated for prepping any work to be demo'd to the client to ensure we’re deliver the value they expect.”</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Your Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Technical Proficiency: </strong>demonstrable proficiency with the following: <ul> <li>Manual testing</li> <li>Postman</li> <li>Managing test cases in Azure DevOps (ADO)</li> <li>Additional knowledge and experience in AI assisted testing (Claude Code, Cursor, CoPilot etc.)<em><strong> is a nice to have</strong></em></li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Practical Experience:</strong> 3-5 years professional experience in relevant technology and projects, including ongoing adherence of best practices, leading and executing manual testing for web and mobile applications, and leveraging industry-standard tools to ensure optimal product quality across all stages of the software development lifecycle.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Client Leadership:</strong> Experience collaborating with client stakeholders during sprint planning and documenting technical approaches.</li> <li><strong>Outcome Orientation:</strong> Experience understanding and articulating the business outcomes that your development projects impact.</li> <li><strong>Relevant Education:</strong> may include intensive programs, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a equivalent experience.</li> <li><strong>Values Alignment:</strong>&nbsp;We Care Deeply, Always Deliver, Never Settle, Do It Together, Own the Outcome, and approach every situation with a CAN DO mentality – learn more about our <a href="https://praxent.com/culture">Core Values</a> and be sure to let us know which aligns most with your experience!</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Love About Us:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>A stable, full-time role.</strong> We’ve been building digital products for 25 years. For more than two decades, the organization has administered need- and access-based K-12 scholarship programs that have funded over a million educational opportunities for students, channeling nearly all of every dollar received directly into student scholarships.
