Analysts provide direct support to senior bankers and are expected to handle a high level of responsibility in the execution of restructuring and distressed financing transactions. The Los Angeles office provides a combination of top-tier restructuring talent and a lean, entrepreneurial team environment. Analysts work on small deal teams in a tight-knit, collegial culture that emphasizes mentorship, apprenticeship, and long-term development. For candidates seeking the standards and training of a leading restructuring platform without the layers of a large analyst pool, this role offers uncommon exposure, accelerated development, and strong potential for increased responsibility over time.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Responsibilities </span></p> <p>Analysts will assume significant ownership across all phases of transaction execution, including:</p> <ul> <li>Analyzing companies, industries, capital structures, liquidity profiles, historical financial statements, and projected financial information</li> <li>Building financial models and performing valuation analyses</li> <li>Conducting industry and company research</li> <li>Managing and executing due diligence</li> <li>Preparing presentations, board materials, and other client-facing materials</li> <li>Leveraging AI-tools to maximize efficiency</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Qualifications </span></p> <p>GLC Advisors seeks candidates with a demonstrated record of excellence, including:</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional work ethic and intellectual curiosity</li> <li>Proven self-starter with leadership qualities and analytical aptitude</li> <li>Undergraduate degree from an outstanding institution with exceptional academic achievement</li> <li>Prior experience working within a bulge-bracket boutique investment bank, or experience in restructuring, leveraged finance, or debt capital markets is preferred, but not required</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Comfortable in high visibility, smaller team setting</li> <li>Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and other financial information tools</li> <li>Demonstrable ties to Los Angeles or Southern California strongly preferred</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Compensation &amp; Culture</span><br>We offer an exciting work environment with an entrepreneurial spirit.
