<p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Lawyer</strong> to join our legal team and play a key role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting the growth of our business in <strong>Denmark. </strong>This role is ideal for a business-oriented legal advisor who can navigate regulatory frameworks while driving innovation and competitiveness. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments, ensuring legal security and compliance in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</p>
<p><strong>Your main responsibilities will be:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Act as a business-oriented legal advisor, balancing compliance with competitiveness and identifying innovative solutions to drive business forward.</li>
<li>Draft, advise on, update, implement, and ensure compliance with loan agreements and related documentation for the Danish market.</li>
<li>Track changes in industry legislation and ensure timely implementation.</li>
<li>Negotiate, prepare, and evaluate legal documents for business partnerships, vendors, and subcontractors in Denmark.</li>
<li>Guide the Country Manager and legal team in compliance and legal matters.</li>
<li>Cooperate with internal departments and stakeholders to provide legal expertise.</li>
<li>Handle customer complaints, regulatory queries, and assist the debt recovery team, ensuring the company’s interests are protected.</li>
<li>Perform additional legal tasks as needed in the scope of the role.</li>
</ul>
<h2 style="line-height: 1.5;"><span style="color: rgb(53, 152, 219);">What would ensure success in this role?</span></h2>
<ul>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Master of Laws degree obtained in Denmark and 5+ years of experience in a similar role (in-house or law firm), including internships.</li>
<li>A deep understanding of Danish consumer credit regulations and the ability to ensure regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills applicable to business agreements and partnerships.</li>
<li>Ability to manage and resolve customer complaints while protecting the company’s interests.</li>
<li>Experience advising cross-functional teams on compliance and legal matters.</li>
<li>Proficiency in analyzing legislative changes and implementing necessary adjustments.</li>
<li>Excellent spoken and written Danish and English.</li>
