About the role
The Legal Intern will support the daily operations of the lawyer by assisting with research, documentation, compliance tasks, and administrative duties. This role is designed for a motivated individual seeking hands-on experience in corporate legal work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Draft and edit legal documents including NDAs, contracts, notices, and correspondence.
- Assist with contract management tasks such as organizing documents and tracking deadlines.
- Support compliance efforts, including monitoring regulatory updates and conducting internal audits.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with other departments such as HR, Finance, and Marketing to collect necessary information.
- Assist with research on local and international regulations relevant to the company.
- Participate in special projects and digitalization initiatives within the legal department.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with legal research databases is a plus.
- Knowledge of Armenian, English, and Russian (written and spoken).
