(Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

<h2 data-section-id="v5cssg" data-start="220" data-end="232">Your Role</h2> <p data-start="234" data-end="524">As a (Senior) Legal Counsel, you will take ownership of legal topics that shape the company’s growth and day-to-day operations. You will work across commercial, corporate, compliance, and regulatory areas, supporting a fast-scaling business with pragmatic, business-oriented legal guidance.</p> <p data-start="526" data-end="700">You will join a small, collaborative, and international legal team, working closely with the VP Legal &amp; General Counsel and cross-functional stakeholders across the business.</p> <p data-start="702" data-end="869">Depending on your experience, you will either take full ownership of topics end-to-end or further develop into this level of responsibility with support from the team.</p> <h2 data-section-id="1j31u8m" data-start="921" data-end="935">Your Impact</h2> <ul data-start="937" data-end="1544"> <li data-section-id="gmzd0z" data-start="937" data-end="1078">Advise on a range of legal matters, with a primary focus on commercial topics and exposure to corporate, compliance, and regulatory areas</li> <li data-section-id="n412ke" data-start="1079" data-end="1241">Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners, independently or with support depending on complexity and experience</li> <li data-section-id="1qzfl5o" data-start="1242" data-end="1348">Support cross-functional initiatives by embedding legal thinking into business decisions and processes</li> <li data-section-id="bzkdem" data-start="1349" data-end="1440">Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks through practical, scalable approaches</li> <li data-section-id="10olaga" data-start="1441" data-end="1544">Contribute to broader legal topics such as compliance, governance, or M&amp;A activities where relevant</li> </ul> <h2 data-section-id="12rl47q" data-start="1551" data-end="1565">Your Skills</h2> <ul data-start="1567" data-end="2255"> <li data-section-id="wefepo" data-start="1109" data-end="1254">Qualified to practice law in Germany (2. Juristisches Staatsexamen with befriedigend or better), the United States (admitted to a state bar), or England &amp; Wales (Solicitor qualification)</li> <li data-section-id="11shzm5" data-start="1255" data-end="1399">Proven experience handling commercial contracts in a B2B environment, with the ability to manage negotiations with a good degree of autonomy</li> <li data-section-id="dwr86q" data-start="1400" data-end="1492">Solid commercial judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives</li> <li data-section-id="1hqjev6" data-start="1493" data-end="1593">Experience working across multiple topics or projects, ideally in a cross-functional environment</li> <li data-section-id="tcv0i6" data-start="1594" data-end="1714">Clear and effective communicator, able to translate legal concepts into practical guidance for business stakeholders</li> </ul>
