You’re not looking for theoretical legal work; you want to help the business move forward safely, efficiently, and confidently.</p> <p data-section-id="1fpmidg" data-start="1702" data-end="1720"><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul data-start="1722" data-end="2788"> <li data-section-id="dx5tuh" data-start="1722" data-end="1824">Draft, review, and negotiate operator agreements, agent agreements, and other commercial contracts</li> <li data-section-id="vzjh8u" data-start="1825" data-end="1985">Serve as a legal partner to internal operations teams and external business operators, providing practical guidance on disputes, risk, and compliance issues</li> <li data-section-id="ol9qk3" data-start="1986" data-end="2089">Support the execution of corporate development initiatives, including acquisitions and integrations</li> <li data-section-id="1o4jr3" data-start="2090" data-end="2216">Assist with legal due diligence for acquisitions, including review of contracts, corporate records, and compliance history</li> <li data-section-id="nl7wte" data-start="2217" data-end="2331">Prepare transaction-related documents including NDAs, LOIs, closing certificates, and ancillary deal materials</li> <li data-section-id="1n5ra24" data-start="2332" data-end="2422">Support post-closing integration of acquired entities into PLACE’s corporate structure</li> <li data-section-id="129pmcf" data-start="2423" data-end="2515">Develop and improve internal legal templates, playbooks, and contract approval workflows</li> <li data-section-id="xjrga1" data-start="2516" data-end="2615">Assist in adopting and implementing AI tools and legal tech systems to improve legal operations</li> <li data-section-id="2z3f0f" data-start="2616" data-end="2704">Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and strategic initiatives</li> <li data-section-id="fp10uw" data-start="2705" data-end="2788">Support special projects as the legal team evolves and scales with the business</li> </ul> <p data-section-id="1e8sx9g" data-start="2795" data-end="2814"><strong>Skills You Have:</strong></p> <ul data-start="2816" data-end="3310"> <li data-section-id="p8t6jb" data-start="2816" data-end="2880">Strong drafting, writing, and contract interpretation skills</li> <li data-section-id="1ra5t6h" data-start="2881" data-end="2962">Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li> <li data-section-id="1cg6go" data-start="2963" data-end="3073">Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with business operators and executives</li> <li data-section-id="1pd110b" data-start="3074" data-end="3148">Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong professional judgment</li> <li data-section-id="xyiw4m" data-start="3149" data-end="3234">Ability to stay organized and prioritize effectively in a high-growth environment</li> <li data-section-id="cklvpp" data-start="3235" data-end="3310">Solutions-oriented approach with a focus on enabling business execution</li> </ul> <p data-section-id="1xmpul9" data-start="3317" data-end="3335"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul data-start="3337" data-end="3681"> <li data-section-id="1vscubf" data-start="3337" data-end="3399">JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership</li> <li data-section-id="1rryouk" data-start="3400" data-end="3483">0–5 years of legal experience; in-house, corporate, or M&amp;A experience preferred</li> <li data-section-id="1938ptq" data-start="3484" data-end="3594">Familiarity or comfort with AI tools, contract lifecycle management systems, or legal operations platforms</li> <li data-section-id="fikr9" data-start="3595" data-end="3681">Experience in real estate, franchising, mortgage, title, or acquisitions is a plus</li> </ul> <p data-section-id="1vvylnm" data-start="3688" data-end="3701"><strong>Salary Range: </strong>$100,000-$125,000/year, depending on experience</p> <p data-section-id="1vvylnm" data-start="3688" data-end="3701"><strong>Why PLACE:</strong></p> <p data-start="3703" data-end="3949">We believe people do their best work when they are trusted, supported, and close to the impact they’re making.
