<p>LBAPS is dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are growing our team and seeking a warm, dedicated Licensed Special Education Teacher to join our preschool in Airmont, NY.</p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a NYS-certified educator with a Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification to work with preschool-aged children (3–5 years old) in a structured, nurturing environment. Hours are 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM Monday - Thursday, and Friday 8:45 - 1:00 PM</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction to children ages 3–5 in alignment with IEP goals</li>
<li>Plan and implement engaging daily lessons tailored to each child's individual needs</li>
<li>Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment</li>
<li>Monitor and document each child's developmental progress and communicate with families</li>
<li>Collaborate with clinical staff, therapists, and support personnel</li>
<li>Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Valid NYS teaching license required</li>
<li>Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification required</li>
<li>Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3–5)</li>
<li>Familiarity with children with ASD or developmental delays is a plus</li>
<li>Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills</li>
<li>Passion for early childhood development and making a meaningful impact</li>
</ul>

<li>Pay: $70 per hour</li>
