Because we know your pets are family, too.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.</li> <li>Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.</li> <li>Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates</li> <li>Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.</li> <li>Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.</li> <li>Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.</li> <li>Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification in New York is required.</li> <li>Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.</li> <li>Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.</li> <li>Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About </strong><strong>Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital at Rye Brook</strong></p> <p>Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital at Rye Brook is the sister location to our original Rye, NY practice, a full-service, AAHA-accredited hospital that has been serving the pets and families of Westchester and Fairfield Counties for over 60 years.
