Lifeguard

Job description:

We are looking for a talented Lifeguard to join our team here at Santanna. Our Lifeguards are hardworking, dedicated and strive to deliver the superior level of service that we are known for.

The candidate must be able to create a pleasant and welcoming environment, at all times, for our guests and constantly display feelings of positivity and calmness.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure safety of swimmers at venue
• Ensure guests feel safe in the pool and beach area
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness; complete general pool cleaning and maintenance duties at regular points throughout shift
• Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practice; enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations
• Follow emergency action plan and procedures when required
• Constantly remain guest-focused and promote exceptional guest experience.

Requirements:

• Must be aware of First Aid rules and techniques (Red Cross CPR & Defibrillation with an AED certification is mandatory)
• Certified Lifeguard in Greece
• Minimum 2 years of Previous experience in a similar high-end beach club
• Strong swimming skills and and physical fitness
• Experience in monitoring and responding skills

• Internal drive and willingness to work in a demanding, challenging and fast‐paced work environment.
• Strong ability and self-motivation to overcome problems at work in a resourceful, efficient, and effective way, working independently or as part of a team.
• Professional communication skills along with an innate teamwork mentality.
