About the role
<p>We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects in the financial services/ HFT space, we are looking for a Linux Trading System Engineer to build, improve, and maintain a complex Linux environment. This position is based in Hong Kong (Onsite).</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Administer/upgrade servers via centralized platform</li>
<li>Provide APAC operational support in follow-the-sun model</li>
<li>Design/install Linux for stream/batch processing & ETL</li>
<li>Provision environments with Dev/IT teams</li>
<li>Automate deployments & innovate improvements</li>
<li>R&D new solutions; adopt emerging tech</li>
<li>Ensure global reliability/scalability</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years Linux admin experience is required</li>
<li>Enterprise Linux + networking (DNS/DHCP/routing/multicast)</li>
<li>Experienced in Config mgmt (Ansible/Puppet/Foreman)</li>
<li>Storage/load-balancing/hardware knowledge</li>
<li>Git + Python/Bash scripting is a must.</li>
