Senior Linux Platform Engineer - Trading Infrastructure

The team works closely with application and support functions to deliver secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions for the business.</p> <ul> <li>Manage and evolve QRT’s Linux platform to support global trading environments</li> <li>Work with application and support teams to maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure</li> <li>Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks, tools, and processes</li> <li>Contribute to the development of monitoring and observability capabilities</li> <li>Analyse and tune performance across systems, networks, and applications</li> <li>Support build/release management processes</li> <li>Collaborate within a version-controlled development environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Present Skillset</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong expertise in Linux (preferably Red Hat–based distributions)</li> <li>Experience building and administering large-scale or latency-sensitive platforms</li> <li>Extensive experience with architecture and long-term evolution of automation and configuration management systems (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)</li> <li>Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. &nbsp;Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana)</li> <li>Experience with build/release management systems.</li> <li>Solid programming skills in Python and Bash (C/C++ is a plus)</li> <li>Detailed understanding of server network stack, network protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, IGMP, LAN and WAN technologies)</li> <li>Experience of performance analysis and tuning</li> <li>Experience working in a collaborative development environment using source control</li> <li>Strong problem solving and analytical skills</li> <li>Effective communication and teamwork skills</li> </ul> <p>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
