About the role
Position: Linux Specialist
Location: Stockholm (remote-friendly, with occasional on-site work)
Assignment Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced Linux specialist with strong expertise in:
- CentOS 7
- Ubuntu 24.04.x LTS (Kernel 6.2 or 6.8).
The main responsibilities include:
- Modifying and adapting existing installation scripts (~1000 lines) and related sub-scripts to migrate from CentOS 7 to Ubuntu 24.04.x LTS.
- Ensuring compatibility and optimization for the updated operating system environment.
Work Conditions:
- Predominantly remote, with occasional on-site requirements (approximately one day a week) at our client’s client’s location in Stockholm.
