A leading distributor and manufacturer, we are driven by our mission to enrich lives by intentionally caring for all who experience us. &nbsp;We are&nbsp;<strong>employee owned</strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>relationship powered</strong>.</p> <p>HOURS: 1st Shift&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:</strong></p> <p>Based out of our Toledo Division, our CDL-A Truck Drivers pick up goods from our suppliers and deliver them to our customers, building and solidifying strong business relationships. They may also transfer goods between our locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Living Out Lumbermen’s Culture</strong>&nbsp;– Leading in and modeling Lumbermen’s core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermen’s is ‘first choice’ of our customers.</li> <li><strong>Loading Products</strong>&nbsp;– Loading and unloading trailers using tie down straps and operating side curtain trailers.</li> <li><strong>Securing Orders</strong>&nbsp;– Properly securing all material loaded on their truck.</li> <li><strong>Staying Compliant</strong>&nbsp;– Properly maintaining their Lumbermen’s-supplied CMV ensuring compliance with required mechanical maintenance per DOT regulations.</li> <li><strong>Ensuring Safety</strong>&nbsp;– Following all DOT and Company safety regulations.</li> <li><strong>Teamwork</strong>&nbsp;– Building and maintaining strong relationships on behalf of Lumbermen’s with all those they come in contact with, including customers, suppliers, fellow employee owners and patrons on the road.</li> </ul> <p>At Lumbermen’s, our business is built on relationships. &nbsp;It’s crucial that the person selected to fill this role is a safety-minded team player who gets energy from contributing to collaborative success.&nbsp;</p> <p>This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.</p> <p><strong>WHO WE NEED:</strong></p> <p>An employee owner&nbsp;who embraces, models, and promotes Lumbermen’s Mission, Vision, and Promise and has:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to effectively work and communicate with fellow employee owners.</li> <li>Ability to handle a variety of tasks at one time.</li> <li>Desire to “do things right the first time.”</li> <li>Ability to work independently.</li> <li>Ability to work and drive safely and efficiently.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Qualifications/Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma/GED required.</li> <li>CDL Class A license with a clean driving record</li> <li>Ability to operate a forklift (trailer loading experience a plus).</li> <li>Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p> <p>Lumbermen’s exists to enrich the lives of people by intentionally caring for all who experience us.
