<p><strong>Coho Technology Solutions</strong> is seeking an experienced <strong>Locksmith</strong> to support installation, repair, maintenance, and security operations at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, CA. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in mechanical and electronic locking systems and maintain strict key control and security standards.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, repair, maintain, and replace mechanical and electronic locking devices.</li> <li>Rekey locks, replace door hardware, and service safe locking mechanisms.</li> <li>Install and maintain access control systems, combination locks, and electro-mechanical locks.</li> <li>Create original, duplicate, and master keys using locksmith tools and key-cutting equipment.</li> <li>Diagnose lock malfunctions and repair or fabricate replacement components when necessary.</li> <li>Extract broken keys and open locks when keys or combinations are unavailable.</li> <li>Develop and maintain key control systems and pinning charts.</li> <li>Conduct inspections and assist with investigations involving tampered locking devices.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of keys, locks, and security equipment.</li> <li>Support locksmith operations aboard facilities and other assigned locations as required.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures at all times.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education and Certifications:</strong> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li> <li>Locksmith certification preferred</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Required Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of locksmith experience in commercial, industrial, or government environments preferred</li> <li>Experience with electronic access control systems highly desirable</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Required Skill and Competencies</strong> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic locking systems</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate lock components</li> <li>Knowledge of key control procedures and security protocols</li> <li>Ability to use locksmith tools, key duplication machines, and diagnostic equipment</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Work Environment</strong> <ul> <li>Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions</li> <li>Position may require lifting, climbing, bending, and prolonged standing</li> </ul> </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Position Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$28.33</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$28.33 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>About Copper River &amp; The Native Village of Eyak:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Owned by the Native Village of Eyak (NVE), a federally recognized Alaska Native Tribe, the Copper River Family of Companies are a collection of entities that deliver a complementary set of solutions and services to support the diverse missions and requirements of our clients.
