<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Specialist Podiatrist – High Risk / Diabetic Foot<br><strong>Banding:</strong> Band 7 <br><strong>Location:</strong> North London <br><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP<br><strong>Duration:</strong> Ongoing<br><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong> £32-35 per hour <br><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Ideally 4 days per week, although full-time hours might be considered</p>

<p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p>
<p>Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Specialist Podiatrist to join a service focused on the management of high-risk and diabetic foot conditions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist podiatry care to patients with complex needs.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will manage their own caseload autonomously, providing advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to support patient outcomes and prevent complications.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver specialist podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for high-risk and diabetic patients.</li>
<li>Manage an autonomous caseload, prioritising patients based on clinical need.</li>
<li>Provide advanced interventions including wound care, offloading, and ABPI assessment.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with diabetic specialist nurses, tissue viability teams, and wider MDT.</li>
<li>Deliver education and health promotion to patients and healthcare professionals.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and Trust standards.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>HCPC registered Podiatrist with a Degree in Podiatry.</li>
<li>Significant NHS experience, particularly within diabetic/high-risk foot care.</li>
<li>Experience in neurovascular and gait assessment.</li>
<li>Strong clinical reasoning and ability to manage complex caseloads.</li>
<li>Experience in patient education and multidisciplinary working.</li>
