Logistics Manager
Purpose of the role:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership of logistics planning, execution, and performance for the Spanish market. The role ensures market continuity, regulatory compliance, inventory control & optimization, and cost efficiency, acting as a key contact to the market and as the main interface between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Distributor, and Global Supply Chain (GSC).
Operating in a highly complex market environment, the role requires strong ownership, cross-functional coordination, and high accountability to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
As a logistics manager you will:
Demand, Supply & Inventory Management:
- Translate commercial forecasts into executable supply and logistics plans
- Ensure alignment across S&OP cycles and key business assumptions
- Define and manage inventory strategies (coverage, ageing, free cash flow)
- Identify supply risks and drive mitigation actions
- Ensure readiness for price changes, launches, and commercial initiatives
Distributor & Market Execution Management
- Own operational relationship with distributor ensuring execution excellence
- Monitor inbound flows, stocks, and service performance
- Manage and resolve execution issues and supply disruptions
- Drive continuous alignment between distributor operations and market needs
Regulatory, Tax Stamp & Compliance Accountability
- Ensure full compliance with Track & Trace, tax stamps, and local regulations
- Guarantee adherence to QMS, audit requirements, and internal controls
- Act as key contact for audits and compliance topics within logistics scope
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor logistics performance (service, stock, write-offs, cost)
- Identify optimization opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives
- Contribute to process harmonization across Iberia cluster
- Support automation and digitalization (reporting, planning tools)
Data Integrity, Planning Governance & Reporting
- Own logistics data accuracy and consistency across planning systems
- Ensure integrity of IBP / SAP planning cycles
- Validate key data shared with Finance, GSC, and stakeholders
- Act as data owner for logistics in Spain
Requirements:
- University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance or similar
- 5–8+ years in logistics / supply planning / supply chain roles
- English required
- Spanish is an advantage
- SAP (IBP / planning tools) & advanced Excel
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Cross-functional stakeholder management
- Ability to manage complexity and fast-changing environments
- Experience with Power BI / reporting automation is a plus
