About the role
- Manage end-to-end delivery of low-voltage / telecom systems across multiple data center buildings.
- Oversee installation of structured cabling, fiber optics, and network infrastructure.
- Coordinate with General Contractors, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure successful execution.
- Track and manage project schedules, budgets, and scope for LV packages.
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Lead coordination meetings and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data center standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of telecom systems.
- 5–10+ years of experience in construction or project management
- Minimum 3–5+ years of data center or mission-critical experience
- Proven experience managing low-voltage / telecom scope (structured cabling, fiber, network infrastructure)
- Experience working directly with General Contractors (REQUIRED)
- Background in ground-up construction projects
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and integration with LV infrastructure
- Experience managing project documentation, schedules, and budgets
- Experience with hyperscale data center projects
- Background working for:
- Data center developers or owners
- Mission-critical General Contractors
- Low-voltage integrators
- Familiarity with commissioning processes and Tier III/IV environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel, and maintain situational awareness in high-activity environments.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots, is required.
- Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity.
