Machine Operator

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Machine Operator - Roofing Manufacturing to join our Christchurch manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on role working with roofing production machinery in a fast-paced factory environment. Hours: Monday to Friday with shifts between 5:00am – 8:00pm, plus occasional Saturday work.

What you’ll be doing

• Operate production and roll-forming machinery
• Manufacture roofing products to specification
• Monitor coil and production materials
• Load/unload trucks and support dispatch
• Complete basic production records
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Requirements

• Machine operating experience in manufacturing or production
• Experience operating roll-forming machinery
• Experience manufacturing roofing products
• Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
• Physically fit for manual handling
• Forklift licence or overhead crane certification preferred
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screen
