Maintenance Ashley Location

Position Overview: 

 

Graber Post Buildings is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our new building material manufacturing facility in Ashley, IN. An individual in this role is responsible for maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of specialized manufacturing machinery as well as general facility maintenance. Applicants must be available to travel to Montgomery, Indiana for training at our company headquarters. Competitive pay starting at $35+ an hour based on experience.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure building and machinery systems are operating correctly and efficiently. 

• Complete preventive maintenance on a regular basis. 

• Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on buildings and machinery. 

• Weld for steel fabrication, modification, and repairs. 

• Read blueprints and complex diagrams for unique machinery.  

• Write detailed reports on maintenance related tasks. 

• Communicate effectively with manufacturers, vendors, customers, and management. 

• Use creative thinking to solve frustrating situations. 

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. 

• Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience. 

• Working knowledge of three phase electrical systems. 

• Must be able to weld or be willing to learn how to weld. 

• Experience with roll forming, trim break, and overhead crane experience is a plus. 

• General facility maintenance experience is a plus. 

• Must be willing to travel to Montgomery, Indiana for training.
