Carpenter
Location: St. Francis Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health
Join the team that keeps St. Francis Hospital operating safely and efficiently. As a Carpenter, you will play an essential role in maintaining, repairing, and improving the hospital’s physical environment—ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming space for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry work including installation, repair, and maintenance of walls, doors, ceilings, flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures
- Repair and replace drywall, partitions, doors, locks, and hardware as needed
- Construct and modify structures in clinical, office, and public areas according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to complete projects accurately
- Ensure all work complies with safety codes, hospital standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with Plant Operations and other departments to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
- Document completed work and report major repair needs to the Plant Operations Foreman
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience (healthcare or commercial setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong communication and documentation skills

Posted Salary Range
USD $36.16 - USD $45.20 /Hr.The range listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
