Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Performing general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment, facilities, and systems
• Regularly inspecting the physical condition of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and pools
• Diagnosing potential problems and responding to engineering service calls and guest requests
• Promptly responding to emergency situations, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, and equipment failures
• Implementing energy-saving measures and eco-friendly practices to reduce utility costs.

• hotel rooms, air/heating. units, ice machines, swimming pools, lighting
• kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water. softeners, switch rooms.
• roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience in building, facility, or hotel maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Basic computer literacy, including the ability to adjust air handler schedules and system controls.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as required.
