<p>Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs to machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Shift</strong></span><strong>:</strong> Swing Shift; 2 weeks 5:00 am - 1:30 pm & 2 weeks 11:00 am - 7:30 pm</p>
<p><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Able to demonstrate knowledge of safety areas reviewed in the safety orientation program.</li>
<li>Perform a variety of installations and preventative maintenance on plant and facility equipment.</li>
<li>Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including electrical and plumbing, insuring equipment is in good repair and in a safe operating condition.</li>
<li>Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair pumps, boilers, steam system, water system, hydraulic system, pneumatic system, and any fluid system as applies.</li>
<li>Be familiar with the plant facility and general operations of same.</li>
<li>Handle tools and equipment properly and to use required protective gear.</li>
<li>Perform light welding, grinding and cutting.</li>
<li>Comply with all Federal State and Company Safety Guidelines and procedures.</li>
<li>Participate in the development of preventative maintenance procedures for various pieces of equipment.</li>
<li>Responsible for wastewater treatment operations.</li>
<li>Work with little supervision.</li>
<li>Some overtime and/or weekend work may be required, as well as holiday work.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>General:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Follow all company safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Perform assigned duties following “Good Manufacturing Practices.”</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li>
<li>Perform all other related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>Requirements/Qualifications:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li>
<li>High level of demonstrated mechanical experience and aptitude required.</li>
<li>Experience with welding, electrical, boilers, refrigeration, machinery repair and PLC troubleshooting and programs.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and computer skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Must be self motivated.</li>
