<p><strong>Maintenance Technician- Full Time</strong></p>
<p><strong>Onsite</strong></p>
<p>The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive<br>maintenance of a hotel's physical property, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical<br>systems, and general building structure. Key duties involve inspecting equipment,<br>responding to guest work orders, diagnosing and resolving issues, and ensuring guest<br>safety and satisfaction. This role requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills,<br>physical stamina, and often, a high school diploma with additional vocational training.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br>Repairs and Maintenance: Perform routine, corrective, and emergency repairs on the<br>hotel's physical plant, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.<br>Equipment Management: Inspect, test, and maintain various machinery and equipment,<br>such as kitchen equipment and lighting.<br>Building Structure: Assist with repairs to floors, roofs, doors, and other parts of the<br>hotel's interior and exterior.<br>Guest Service: Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests with a focus on safety<br>and guest satisfaction.<br>Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent<br>issues and minimize downtime.<br>Documentation: Keep records of all maintenance activities and work orders.</p>
<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications:</strong><br>Technical Skills: Proficient in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, along with<br>general carpentry and painting skills.<br>Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose problems, identify solutions, and implement them<br>efficiently.<br>Physical Stamina: The ability to stand, move, lift, and carry heavy objects, and work in<br>various physical positions (bending, crawling).<br>Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with guests, management,<br>and contractors.</p>
<p><strong>Organizational Skills:</strong> Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond to work orders, and<br>maintain organized records.</p>
<p><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or equivalent.</p>
