Job Summary
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and equipment.
- Follow established procedures, safety standards, and housekeeping protocols.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
- Requisition parts and supplies as needed to support maintenance activities.
- Operate hand tools and pneumatic equipment effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to support a cooperative and efficient work environment.
- Ensure workspaces are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
- Communicate operational concerns and support requirements to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely support, resolve service-related issues, and obtain necessary information.
- Support overtime and on-call maintenance requirements as needed.
- Adhere to company environmental, safety programs, policies, and procedures and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
- Experience in maintenance or related technical work is preferred but not required and will be considered.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and facility maintenance practices.
- Ability to safely operate tools, machinery, and material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work in environments with exposure to noise, vibration, extreme temperatures, and hazardous conditions.
- Physical ability to perform heavy work, including exerting significant force and performing activities such as lifting, pulling, stooping, crawling, crouching, kneeling, grasping, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment and work in environments requiring close visual attention to detail.
