Working within a fast-paced dynamic environment with a small team, you will play a key role across month-end close, management reporting, FP&amp;A, statutory reporting under IFRS, audit preparation, and business partnering. This is a broad role offering significant exposure and the opportunity to make a real impact as we scale.</p> <p>This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys operating across both technical accounting and commercial finance in a high growth environment.</p> <h1>What you’ll be doing</h1> <p><strong>Statutory Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare consolidated statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS.</li> <li>Prepare tax computations for UK and German entities.</li> <li>Support regulatory reporting and compliance activities, including safeguarding reconciliation.</li> <li>Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely delivery of audit requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Accounting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own day-to-day accounting activities and support the broader finance function including AP and GL maintenance within the ERP.</li> <li>Prepare bank reconciliations in multiple currencies.</li> <li>Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.</li> <li>Reconcile intercompany transactions and prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for the UK and German entities.</li> <li>Prepare monthly reporting packs for submission to parent company, NYK.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Treasury and cash management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Forecast weekly payment obligations and short-term cash requirements..</li> <li>Partner with treasurer of funds required to maintain healthy liquidity levels.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the budgeting and forecasting process across the group.</li> <li>Work with various stakeholders and large data sets to generate business insights.</li> <li>Monitor key KPIs and financial metrics, ensuring clear visibility of performance.</li> <li>Assist in preparing management packs for board presentations.</li> </ul> <h1>Your profile</h1> <p><strong>Essential</strong></p> <ul> <li>Qualified or part qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).</li> <li>4+ years’ experience within a finance function.</li> <li>Strong understanding of statutory IFRS reporting, (including IFRS 10, 15, 16 &amp; 18).</li> <li>Hands-on experience with multi-entity and multi-currency group consolidations.</li> <li>Excellent Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.</li> <li>Ability to communicate financial and regulatory matters clearly to non-finance stakeholders.</li> <li>Be willing to take on ad-hoc tasks and develop into other areas within finance.</li> <li>Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with international entities, particularly German subsidiaries is advantageous</li> <li>Previously worked for a regulated business.</li> </ul> <h1>Why us</h1> <ul> <li>🌱 Opportunity to work in a company with direct social impact</li> <li>💰 Competitive compensation</li> <li>🇺🇦 Open &amp; International environment</li> <li>🏛️ Fantastic locations in the heart of Berlin &amp; London</li> <li>🤹‍♂️&nbsp;Flexible WFH policy</li> <li>🥳 Regular team events</li> <li>🥘 Free lunch at the office in Berlin</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><h3>About the company</h3> <p><em>Kadmos is on an ambitious mission to revolutionise&nbsp;salary payments to migrant workers.
