<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Manager, AV Incident Management is responsible for leading May Mobility's incident management function within the Systems Risk Management team. This role owns the end-to-end incident response process across our autonomous vehicle operations, ensuring every incident is identified, managed, and closed in a way that is accurate, timely, and defensible to regulators and partners.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As May Mobility scales its fleet and expands toward continuous autonomous operations, this role provides the senior leadership and operational expertise needed to mature our incident management capability in line with that growth. This individual will develop and maintain the processes, standards, and team structures that keep our operations safe and our safety case credible.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead and continuously improve the incident management process across all AV operational sites, ensuring consistent, high-quality response to incidents of all severities</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Enable and support regulatory incident reporting, including NHTSA Standing General Order requirements and applicable state-level reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and maintain incident response standards, escalation frameworks, and operational protocols in alignment with May Mobility's safety case and risk management approach</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design and lead a tiered incident response team structure that scales effectively with fleet growth, balancing full-time and contract resources to maintain coverage and quality</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators, first responders, and partners during significant incidents, coordinating response and communications in partnership with Legal and Safety leadership</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work cross-functionally with Safety, Engineering, Legal, and Operations to ensure incidents drive systemic improvement, not just resolution</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and lead the talent within the incident management team, building a clear career pathway and ensuring the team has the skills and capacity to meet operational demands</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on incident trends, team performance, and emerging risks</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep understanding of AV operations and the regulatory environment governing autonomous vehicle deployment in the United States</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven ability to lead and make decisions under pressure, with clear judgment on escalation and regulatory reporting thresholds</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong process ownership instincts - able to design systems that work consistently across teams and time zones</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Effective communicator across technical, legal, and executive audiences</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to build and develop a team from a small base, with a practical approach to scaling that stays ahead of operational demand</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">High integrity in handling sensitive operational and safety information</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><em>Candidates most successful in this role typically hold the following qualifications or comparable knowledge or experience:</em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">7+ years of experience in incident management, safety operations, or crisis management within an autonomous vehicle, aviation, rail, or similarly regulated industry</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Direct experience owning regulatory incident reporting to federal or state transportation authorities</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated experience designing and implementing escalation structures and on-call coverage models for 24/7 operations</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven track record working across Safety, Engineering, Legal, and Operations functions at a senior level</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience building and leading small, high-performing teams in a fast-paced operational environment</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Desirable Qualifications:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience at an AV company that has operated or launched driverless commercial service</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Background in first responder coordination and external communications during major incidents</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with safety case frameworks and risk-based assessment methodologies</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prior military experience, especially those with Special Operations or Officer Command roles, or equivalent Federal or State Government experience</span></li>
