The Core Marketplace pod focuses on the heart of DoorDash's Canadian business — ensuring customers engage, retain, and return to the platform for food delivery and beyond.</p> <h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for a strategic, solution-oriented, and creative retention marketer to join the Canada Consumer Lifecycle Marketing team. In this role, you will focus on launching and iterating on CRM programs that drive growth and retention for our core marketplace business in Canada.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is able to think big picture about the customer lifecycle in one moment and seamlessly transition into the details of campaign execution and reporting in the next. They have experience building consensus with cross-functional teams, developing trusted relationships with partners, and excelling at making data-informed decisions to accomplish campaign and business objectives.</p> <p>Key areas of focus include: creating and maintaining campaign and workflow strategy for Canada Core MAU efforts, including offer, cadence, and audience testing; analyzing the impact of initiatives on key business metrics; creative ideation and iteration; and consulting on strategy for various customer workstreams.</p> <h2><strong>You're excited about this opportunity because you will…</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Own Canada Core Marketplace lifecycle strategy — develop and execute CRM programs that drive engagement, retention, and resurrection for DoorDash's core Canadian customer base</li> <li><strong>Build end-to-end campaigns </strong>— manage audience segmentation, targeting, creative briefing, QA, launch, and post-campaign reporting within Braze</li> <li>Design and iterate on customer journeys — build trigger-based and always-on CRM programs that meet customers at key moments in their lifecycle (e.g. onboarding, re-engagement, win-back)</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally — collaborate with Product, Analytics, Promo Strategy, Creative Studio, and Marketing Ops to deliver cohesive lifecycle programs</li> <li><strong>Analyze and optimize </strong>— review campaign and program performance with analytics partners, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable improvements</li> <li>Stay current on best practices — bring relevant learnings on lifecycle marketing, retention strategies, and CRM innovation to the broader team</li> </ul> <h2><strong>We're excited about you because you have…</strong></h2> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing</li> <li>Deep familiarity with CRM technology including ESPs and marketing automation platforms (e.g. Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)</li> <li>Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail</li> <li>Strong writer and communicator</li> <li>Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, and data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Periscope)</li> <li>Knowledge of email industry best practices including contact strategies, targeting and segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics</li> <li>Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated, and ability to multi-task</li> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><h1><strong>Compensation</strong></h1> <p>Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.&nbsp;</p> <p>DoorDash cares about you and your overall well-being.
