This role combines organizational leadership, technical authority, and field execution oversight to ensure the successful deployment, commissioning, operational readiness, and long-term reliability of Armada infrastructure across government, commercial, and mission-critical environments.  The Deployment Lead serves as the senior operational authority for deployment execution and field engineering activities, exercising significant independent judgment in deployment strategy, operational decision-making, incident response, infrastructure reliability, and workforce leadership. This individual is responsible for leading and developing Deployment Engineering teams while driving scalable operational standards, deployment methodologies, and field execution processes across a globally distributed infrastructure environment.  The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across electrical, mechanical, controls/BAS, networking, and critical infrastructure systems, paired with strong organizational leadership and operational management capabilities.      <div> Location. This role is remote with extensive travel.      What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) </div> Organizational & Operational Leadership  <ul> <li>Lead and scale Armada’s Deployment Engineering organization across multiple regions, deployment programs, and technical disciplines  </li> <li>Establish operational standards, deployment readiness frameworks, engineering procedures, and field execution methodologies  </li> <li>Provide leadership, mentorship, performance management, and technical development for Deployment Engineering personnel  </li> <li>Drive workforce planning, hiring strategy, onboarding, organizational design, and technical capability development initiatives  </li> <li>Exercise independent judgment in operational prioritization, resource allocation, deployment escalation management, and field execution strategy  </li> </ul>   Deployment Strategy & Field Execution  <ul> <li>Own deployment execution strategy for complex domestic and international modular data center deployments  </li> <li>Direct commissioning, startup, infrastructure validation, and operational readiness activities across electrical, mechanical, controls/BAS, networking, and low-voltage systems  </li> <li>Establish and maintain deployment standards that ensure operational quality, commissioning consistency, infrastructure reliability, and customer readiness  </li> <li>Drive deployment process improvements focused on scalability, repeatability, operational efficiency, and reduced deployment risk  </li> <li>Oversee field assessments, deployment documentation, commissioning reports, and operational turnover activities  </li> <li> </li> </ul> Technical Leadership & Infrastructure Authority  <ul> <li>Serve as the senior technical authority for field operations across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Network, and Life Safety systems  </li> <li>Lead root cause analysis initiatives, operational investigations, and long-term corrective action strategies across the deployment fleet  </li> <li>Drive standards and operational strategy for BMS, EPMS, and DCIM integration, monitoring, alarming, escalation workflows, and infrastructure observability  </li> <li>Apply advanced troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex operational and infrastructure issues during deployment and live operational events  </li> <li>Influence infrastructure architecture, deployment strategy, and engineering design decisions based on operational field intelligence and deployment learnings  </li> </ul> Reliability & Incident Management  <ul> <li>Establish and oversee global incident management processes, operational escalation frameworks, and infrastructure recovery procedures  </li> <li>Lead high-severity operational incidents and coordinate cross-functional response efforts across Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Operations, and external partners  </li> <li>Define and manage operational KPIs, deployment metrics, fleet health reporting, and infrastructure performance standards  </li> <li>Drive reliability engineering initiatives focused on uptime, resilience, operational continuity, and long-term serviceability  </li> </ul>   Cross-Functional & External Leadership  <ul> <li>Build and manage strategic vendor, contractor, and deployment partner relationships supporting global infrastructure operations  </li> <li>Partner with Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Operations leadership to align deployment execution with broader company objectives  </li> <li>Translate operational field intelligence into actionable engineering, product, and deployment process improvements  </li> <li>Represent deployment operations during customer reviews, executive-level operational discussions, and strategic infrastructure planning activities  </li> </ul>     Citizenship Requirements For select roles, due to the nature of our clientele and the technologies involved, there may be specific nationality or citizenship indicated in the required qualifications section. In such cases, employment offers will be contingent upon your ability to comply with these requirements.'     Required Qualifications U.S. citizenship required   Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance  <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, modular data centers, critical facilities, or complex field operations environments  </li> <li>5+ years of leadership experience managing technical infrastructure teams, deployment organizations, or field engineering operations  </li> <li>Demonstrated experience exercising independent operational and technical judgment within high-availability infrastructure environments  </li> <li>Deep expertise across critical infrastructure domains including:  <ul> <li> Electrical systems  </li> <li>Mechanical/HVAC systems  </li> <li>Controls/BAS systems  </li> <li>Low-voltage systems  </li> <li>Network-connected infrastructure systems  </li> </ul> </li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with BMS, EPMS, and/or DCIM platforms  </li> <li>Proven success leading commissioning, deployment execution, operational readiness, and incident response activities  </li> <li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and infrastructure reliability expertise  </li> <li>Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to translate technical risk into operational and business impact  </li> <li>Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, high-accountability operational environments  </li> </ul> <div>     Compensation For U.S. Based candidates: To ensure fairness and transparency, the starting base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed below, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications.
