Manager (Hong Kong)

Borrelli Walsh, a Kroll Business, is a leading specialist restructuring, insolvency and forensic accounting firm with a dedicated team of over 140 professionals and staff across offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, United Kingdom, British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. Borrelli Walsh has been involved in some of the largest and most difficult corporate collapses, litigation and expert witness cases, and financial investigations in recent years.

We are currently seeking an ambitious and qualified individual to join our team as a Manager in Hong Kong. You will be involved in a wide range of interesting and challenging deals, often spanning multiple jurisdictions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in insolvency, restructuring and litigation support through exposure to working with lenders, investors, companies and their advisors in distressed and urgent situations

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate solid experience of:

• High-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations and complex cross-border matters; 
• Day-to-day management of engagements such as financial and operational restructuring, liquidations, other formal and informal insolvency and restructuring procedures and investigations; 
• Drafting reports for Courts and creditors; 
• Managing and mentoring junior members of staff;
• Establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients; and
• Involvement in business development activities.

Successful candidates will have the following attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field;
• CA and/or CPA qualification;
• A minimum of 6 years’ relevant work experience, including insolvency, restructuring and associated investigations;
• Good business sense and commercial acumen;
• Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems; 
• Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills; and
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
